Ground & Restore Bodywork

Therapeutic touch designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and support deeper healing

At Blossom Wellness Centre, bodywork is not about pushing harder—it’s about helping the body feel safe enough to let go.

Ground & Restore is a personalized bodywork experience designed to support your nervous system, ease muscular tension, improve circulation, and create space for your body to settle into a deeper state of restoration.

This work blends therapeutic touch, intuitive body awareness, and a trauma-aware approach to help you reconnect with your body—gently, intentionally, and at a pace your system can receive.

Whether you’re carrying physical tension, emotional stress, or simply feeling depleted, Ground & Restore offers a space to soften, unwind, and reset.

Abdominal Therapy

A gentle, external therapy to support circulation, alignment, and deeper healing from the core

At Blossom Wellness Centre, healing begins at the root.

What Abdominal Therapy May Support

Abdominal Therapy may be beneficial for:

  • Fertility preparation and reproductive wellness

  • Menstrual discomfort or irregular cycles

  • Pelvic tension or stagnation

  • Digestive discomfort, bloating, or constipation

  • Scar tissue support (including C-section or abdominal surgery recovery, when appropriate)

  • Low back, hip, or sacral tension

  • Stress-related abdominal holding patterns

  • Supporting postpartum recovery

This work can be supportive for women at many stages of life—from cycle regulation to fertility, postpartum recovery, and peri-menopausal transition.

Abdominal Therapy + Fertility Support

For fertility patients, abdominal therapy can be a beautiful complement to acupuncture and cycle support.

By encouraging healthy circulation, softening areas of restriction, and supporting overall pelvic wellness, this therapy may help create a more balanced foundation for reproductive health. For some patients, this may also be integrated with deeper constitutional insight, including timing and pattern awareness.

Abdominal Therapy is a gentle, external, hands-on treatment that supports the natural flow of circulation, energy, lymph, and structural alignment throughout the abdomen and pelvis. This work is rooted in a traditional healing lineage refined over decades, and I bring specialized training in these techniques to every session.

This treatment is designed to support the body’s natural rhythms while bringing awareness and healing to an area where many people unknowingly hold tension, congestion, or emotional stress.

Using techniques rooted in traditional abdominal therapy lineage and modern integrative bodywork, this treatment supports the body’s innate ability to restore balance—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Gua Sha & Cupping

Traditional therapies. A renewed sense of ease.

Sometimes the body needs a little help letting go.

At Blossom Wellness Centre, we draw upon the time-honored practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the body’s natural processes and encourage a greater sense of balance and well-being.

Gua Sha and cupping are hands-on therapies that use different forms of gentle, intentional stimulation to address areas of tension and stagnation. Each technique offers a unique experience, and treatments are tailored to your comfort, needs, and wellness goals.

Whether used on their own or incorporated into an acupuncture or bodywork session, these traditional therapies offer another way to care for your body.

Gua Sha

Release tension. Restore movement.

Gua Sha is a traditional East Asian technique in which a smooth-edged tool is gently glided across the skin with controlled, repeated strokes. The technique creates friction and stimulation in the treated area.

Gua Sha is commonly used to address areas of muscular tension, stiffness, and discomfort. Many people find the treatment relaxing and appreciate the feeling of reduced tightness and improved ease of movement afterward.

At Blossom Wellness Centre, Gua Sha is performed with attention to your individual needs and comfort. Pressure and technique are adjusted according to the area being treated and your response to the treatment.

Gua Sha may be incorporated into a session to complement acupuncture or therapeutic bodywork.

Cupping

Create space. Invite relaxation.

Cupping is a traditional therapy that uses specially designed cups to create suction on the skin. The gentle lifting action draws the skin and superficial tissue upward, creating a sensation that many people describe as a feeling of release.

Cupping is often used on areas such as the back, shoulders, and other regions where muscular tension may accumulate. Some people find it helps them feel less restricted and more relaxed.

The cups may be stationary for a period of time or gently moved across the skin, depending on the technique and your treatment goals.

Cupping can leave temporary circular marks or discoloration. These marks are not the same as ordinary bruises, although they may look similar, and they generally fade over several days to a couple of weeks. The amount of marking varies from person to person and is not a measure of how effective a treatment has been.

Your treatment is always tailored to your comfort, and suction can be adjusted or discontinued at any time.

What to Expect

Gua Sha and cupping are individualized treatments. Your session begins with a conversation about your concerns, health history, and goals so that the techniques used are appropriate for you.

Depending on your needs, treatment may include one technique or a combination of both. These therapies may also be incorporated into acupuncture or bodywork sessions.

After treatment, you may notice temporary redness, warmth, tenderness, or circular marks in the treated areas. Staying hydrated, allowing yourself time to rest, and following any aftercare guidance can help you care for your body following your session.

Please let us know if you take blood-thinning medication, have a bleeding disorder, have sensitive or fragile skin, or have any other health concerns that may affect treatment. Gua Sha and cupping are not appropriate for every person or every area of the body.

Access Bars®

A gentle, hands-on approach to quieting the mind and supporting nervous system relaxation

Sometimes healing begins by creating space.

What an Access Bars® Session May Support

Patients often seek Access Bars® sessions for support with:

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Mental fatigue or “busy mind”

  • Difficulty relaxing

  • Emotional exhaustion

  • Sleep support

  • Feeling energetically depleted or stuck

  • Nervous system regulation and restoration

Sessions are gentle, quiet, and designed to help the body settle into a more restorative state.

Access Bars® is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on modality designed to support relaxation, calm mental overactivity, and help the body shift out of stress and overwhelm.

During a session, light touch is applied to specific points on the head associated with different areas of life, thought patterns, emotions, and stored stress. Many patients describe sessions as deeply calming, grounding, and restorative.

At Blossom Wellness Centre, Access Bars® sessions are offered as a supportive complement to deeper healing work—especially for those feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally overloaded, or disconnected from rest.
